Paget part of the new series with Hub

LOS ANGELES, Ca. — Approaching its October 10 (10-10-10) launch, the new children’s and family network The Hub has tapped an impressive roster of popular stars for its lineup of Hub Original Series. The casting for animated and live-action series was announced today by Margaret Loesch, President and CEO, The Hub, during the new network’s appearance at the 2010 Television Critics Association Press Tour in Los Angeles.

The Hub is a joint venture of Discovery Communications and Hasbro, Inc., and will be available to 60 million U.S. cable and satellite households upon launch.

Casting unveiled today includes:

“Dan Vs.” (Hub Original Series, animated) Cast includes: Curtis Armstrong (“Revenge of the Nerds”), Dave Foley (“The Kids in the Hall”), Paget Brewster(“Criminal Minds”), Meredith Baxter (“Family Ties”) and Michael Gross (“Family Ties”),. Produced by Film Roman LLC.

Paget hosts event for UnderShare

Fifteen years later, UnderShare is still going strong due to that same volunteer enthusiasm. On August 14, the organization will throw another fashion show and silent auction. This one hosted by Paget Brewster, will welcome members of the Hollywood community, including celebrity attendees like the Suicide Girls, DB Sweeney, Kristanna Loken and many others. The event hopes to raise money to do more good in the Los Angeles area, in part through its silent auction, which features an original piece of art by Katey Darling made in part by underwear.

Additionally, a Minds source confirms that her costar Paget Brewster — who has been ironing out a reduced-episode arrangement with the show — has finalized a deal to return as well. Brewster, meanwhile, will be back as Prentiss for “a significant number of episodes,” says a Minds insider.
